&& Mathematical Signs + - The plus sign - Used to add - Expresses a positive number
- - The minus sign - Used to subtract - Expresses a negative number
* () x . - Signs used for multiplication
/ ÷ - Signs used for division
= - The Equal sign - Used to express equations or equality
< - Less than sign
> - Greater than sign
--- - Fraction Bar - Used to separate the numerator from a denominator
. - Decimal point - Used to separate whole numbers from decimals
% - Percent sign
^ - Can be used to denote exponents

&& Numbers and Integers Integer - Either a positive or negative number found on a number line
Positive Integer - Numbers found on the right of the number line - Numbers above zero
Negative Integer - Integer found on the left side of the number line - Numbers below zero
Number Line - A straight with zero at its center and numbers on its left and right
Exponents - A number signifying how many times a base is to be multiplied to itself. - Used to express equations or equality
Factor - A factor is a number that is multiplied to another number to get the product
GCF - Greatest Common Factor - The greatest common factor is the factor with the largest numerical value between two or more numbers
LCM - Least Common Multiple - Smallest number that is a multiple of two or numbers
